I have had a passion and been involved in music all my life from playing the alto saxophone in elementary school to playing percussion through out middle and high school.
While in high school, I was one of only two students chosen in the State of Maryland and invited to play with The United States Collegiate Wind Band traveling to 9 different countries and 13 different cities in Europe.
After graduating high school, I attended George Mason University before joining the United States Air Force in 1995.
It was in the Air Force while stationed over seas in South Korea, that I got my first opportunity to “DJ” in the clubs on base.
After being honorably discharged from the Air Force, I gained employment with the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) for a short time, then freelancing with NBC Channel 4 and The Nightly News with Tom Brokaw. Most recently, I have been employed with The United States Capitol Police in Washington, D. C., having celebrated close to 15 years of service.
With music and DJ’ing still near and dear to my heart, I attended The Certified DJ Training Program given by John Roberts’ Roving Records in Waldorf, MD, where I received formal DJ training and education. Graduating with honors, I became recognized as a “Certified DJ” by the American Disc Jockey Association (www.adja.org) of which I am also a member.
After graduating from The Certified DJ Training Program, I opened for business in 2005, and have been providing mobile DJ services to the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area with experience in all venues to include School Dances, Corporate Events, Birthday/Sweet 16 parties, and specializing in Weddings to name a few.
From entertaining parties of less than 20 to rockin’ the music for venues of 500, no job is too big OR small!

Cathy has provided photography services for the 4th year in a row for my annual party. She is a master at finding the perfect shot, not only of my guests, but also of the party decorations of which I put a lot of work. She cheerfully shadows me as I work the room to welcome my guests and is always ready to capture both posed and spontaneous pictures. My guests and I always look forward to seeing the pictures taken so that we can remember an evening of fun, friendship, and festivities.

Jason was prompt, courteous, professional and extremely helpful during our entire wedding. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about the service received and everything was flawless. We included an uplighting package that looked amazing and was a key aspect of the overall look of our wedding. I can’t recommend both Jason and Off the Hook Entertainment enough. The knowledge and experience that Jason has is a key component to how great of a DJ he is.
Everything was amazing. The difficulty with the ceremony set up was unforeseen and I wish I could have prevented it for your company. I blame the venue more than anything as I had informed them that the DJ would be doing the beach ceremony and they made no indications that electricity and equipment signal would have been problematic.
Jason has done multiple events for our family and every time he does an amazing job. For our wedding, he went above and beyond. I contacted Jason for possible referrals in the North Carolina area and he offered his services. He made the long drive to Oak Island, NC for us!!! It was great to have a familiar face and going into the day, it made my stress significantly less because he was well prepared and had prepared me and my wedding party!
DJ Jason, was the best! He went over and above to help with our 1st slideshow!!! His Prince remix was completely over the TOP!! Everyone loved it and is still talking about it.
